A partial listing of items NOT purchasable with Food Stamps. . . We are always in need of these items!

This list is really for ANY nonprofit that is serving people at the poverty level or below--or seniors on fixed incomes. We focus on items that people desperately need BUT cannot buy with food stamps. Remember, we can buy 30 to 60 days in advance at HUGE discounts! Also, everything MUST work and be “new or gently used."
 

Paper Products:  Toilet paper, Paper towels, Paper plates, Napkins, Kleenex, Diapers size 3-5, wipes.

Household and Cleaning Products:  Dishwashing liquid, Laundry detergent, Fabric softener, Mops, Toilet cleaner/brushes, Cleaning solutions, Brooms/dust pans, Vacuum cleaners, Chlorox, Oxiclean, Windex.

Hygiene Items:  Shampoo, Lice Treatment Kits, Bar/Hand Soap, Deodorant, Razors, Toothbrushes/Pastes, Hair Brushes/Combs, Hand Sanitizer, Feminine Hygiene Products.

Furniture:   Mattresses/Box springs (twin, full, queen), Couches & love seats, Arm Chairs, Dining tables/Chairs, Bed Frames, Refrigerators, Stoves, TVs & TV Stands, Recliners, Shelving units, Chest of drawers, Dressers, Coffee tables, Lamps, End tables, Gently used &/or new blankets, sheets, pillows, pillow cases.

Kitchen and Bathroom:  Dishes, Pots & pans, Silverware (any), Cooking utensils, Toasters, Gently used or new bath towels & washcloths, Dish towels, Microwaves, Toilet brushes/plungers, hand can openers.

OTHER NEEDS—NEW &/OR Gently Used:  Batteries (AA and AAA), Fire extinguishers, Coats/hoodies, Blankets, Boots and shoes, Gloves, scarves, hats, Lice Kits, Pillows & pillow cases, Men’s & boy's clothing (this is HIGH need!), School supplies for MANY students!

School Supplies MOST Commonly Needed:  Crayons, Glue sticks washable, #2 Pencils  Kleenex tissues, Washable color markers, Child and regular scissors, Colored pencils, Big pink erasers, Highlighters, Plastic school box (K-5), Blue pens, Composition note books, Wide lined spirals, Pocket folders (with and without fasteners 3 per student), 3-Ring binders 1 inch, Elmer's glue—bottle, Loose leaf paper.

 

Groups like mine distribute items to more than 100 different organizations in 6 counties!
